I was in HMLA 167 from '84-'88 (had my A/C wings pinned on !), and also from Long Island. During my time there, the squadron was designated HMLA-167-/Re-enforced, and had a patch made to reflect the minus/re-enforced time frame. What a great time. SEMPER FI
