So, by now you know that Mr. Sweet Tea and I are having a mini-destination wedding in New Orleans. I say ‘mini’ just because NOLA is not as ‘exotic’ a locale as a typical destination wedding, but definitely *not* because it’s a miniature amount of work. Calling vendors and making decisions when you have a two hour time difference and are a pricey 6+ hour plane trip away isn’t exactly a walk in the park. Whereas a childhood best friend recently planned her wedding in four months, as she was able to drive home whenever she wanted to finalize decisions, me and Mr. ST have mostly been going on gut instinct and faith (ok, and a lot of obsessively-compiled information gathered by yours truly). So, to keep myself from going absolutely crazy, I’m working really hard to accept the fact that I have to let go of some things… maybe a lot of things.
