This is the meeting of Funk 'n Head. 1. This dread cuff/wrap is a beautiful combination of hand dyed wool and silk boucle, knitted by me. This is beautiful colourway of browns, earthy russets, deep ruddy golds. This is the picture that inspired the combination of colours: http://www.nps.gov/archive/grca/photos/images/D_0731.JPG The dread cuff/wrap can be worn alone with your own hair pulled through the top, or some of your own hair pulled thru the top or it can be worn with the dreads i've made to go with it. She measures approx. 9" (22.9 cm) wide when laid flat and approx. 12" (30.5 cm) when stretched. Because of its knitted construction it will easily accommodate up to a 25" (63.5 cm) head comfortably. 2. The dreads are gorgeous. I've felted and partially felted (fulled) different rovings in shades of brown, russet/blue, deep orange, and others that combine beautifully together.
