Here's what vintage is all about! This bright orange fur felt hat was made in Italy by Borsalino, the famed Italian hatmaker founded in 1857 in Alessandrio. The hat is wonderfully soft and a somewhat structured beret, which holds its shape when off the head and has a generous turned under area for a comfortable fit. A hat pin attached to the front is a gold-tone metal butterfly with red and white rhinestones on the body, red rhinestone feelers, lime green and orange feather "wings," and two black feather feelers sticking up. A grosgrain ribbon on the inside is labeled Borsalino in gold. The hat is also stamped Borsalino Antica Casa on the inside. The hat is in good vintage condition. The fur is still bright and soft but has some lighter areas on it (some of them appear as lighter lines) and one small matted area to the left of the butterfly where there's a slightly darker spot. Mmm... Nixie HUNGRY! Help your child stand out with this ultra-comfy unique earflap hat. I'm fresh out of kids today, but from my experience, Nixie should fit toddlers to small children. Inside circumference is approximately 19.5" and lip to tip of mohawk is about 12". Fabric is slightly stretchy and will give where necessary Nixie is made from new bubblegum, orange, and white fleeces, has a bright purple tag fur mohawk (tags are bubblegum pink), and is lined with a fuchsia flannel print. The horns are stuffed with new polyester stuffing. The eyes are green safety eyes with trimmed posts and additional felt padding for added comfort. Nixie comes with pink variegated ties to keep her on the friskiest of humans. Feel free to convo me with custom size or style requests. Many fleece and fur colors are available. Different expressions and eye colors can be used. Velcro or string ties can be also be added to the earflaps to tame skiddish monsters. See less
