Well it started out as a regular day in Monroe, WA. on December 26th. Getting to SeaTac Airport proved effortless but as I made my way to the terminal I was informed that my flight was going to be delayed about half an hour. I was early anyways and figured I would just relax and do some people watching. Finally boarding the plane, Alaska Air flight 536 from SeaTac (Seattle/Tacoma) to Burbank airport was ready to take off. A nice lady sat next to me on the isle seat and a little boy I figure to be about seven or eight years old sat next to the window. We were on row 25 in an MD80, one of the smaller planes in the air today. We taxied and in a moment or two we were in the air. I sat fidgeting with my Ipod, I remember laughing to myself because I was listening to “Such Great Heights” from the Postal Service. Flipping through the new PASTE magazine I had bought earlier while waiting for the plane to arrive, I had relaxed and was on my way home, So I thought! See less
