(02/25/10) This book serves two practical purposes. The first is to encourage you to cycle-a good thing in itself. The second is to introduce you to the marvellous varieties of terrain and cycling routes that can be easily accessed from Dublin. This point of view, from his bike seat, became his panoramic window on urban life, a magical way of opening one’s eyes to the inner workings and rhythms of a city’s geography and population.See less
