Cut carefully and shaped smooth, the copper lines have been brightly polished and given a clear coat to protect the metal and finish. These earrings are pretty really unique eye catchers. When I've worn any earrings I've made in this line they at least had to take a second look. These are very cool gifts for any geek in your life. The patronage of the ruling families of the small Italian city-states greatly favored the flourishing of the figurative arts and architecture, but also in music, literature, and theater. The design has been hand-drawn on one side of a sheet of shrink plastic (in what I like to think of as a delightfully whimsical Quentin Blake-esque fashion) and colored on the other for a stained glass effect, then sealed with a shiny, dimensional varnish. Design is one-sided. These fellas are suspended from silver-plated chains, which are topped with red glass beads. They're dainty but detailed at 1.5"/35mm tall, and the ear hooks are nickel-free surgical steel, so they shouldn't irritate your delicate lobes. TOTAL EARRING LENGTH: 3.25"/82mm Since this is the first completed pair, I'm letting them go for $15. Future pairs will cost a little bit more, so grab this deal while you can!See less

They've been hand-drawn on one side (in what I like to think of as a delightfully whimsical Quentin Blake-esque fashion) and colored on the other for a stained glass effect, then sealed with a shiny, dimensional varnish. Design is one-sided. The last two photos are included so you can see the detail in the linework--there are even little handles! The first three are MUCH more indicative of the color they'll be when they're swinging from your ears, though. The TARDISes you receive won't be completely identical to the ones pictured, as they are all hand-drawn, but they will be the same size, color, art, and design. And much of that success, claims researcher-editor Gunter, was due not only to the skills of such stars as Norma Shearer and Joan Crawford but also to the genius of one little-known costume designer--Gilbert Adrian, or simply Adrian, as L.A. dubbed him. The book starts with Adrian's predilection for the arts--born of talented parents and educated at Parsons--and, from there, almost instantaneous stardom when he joined MGM in 1924.
