This is a one-of-a-kind piece from our beaded collar necklace series! This lovely and substantial necklace is constructed from a vintage beaded collar dripping with faux pearls. The soft pink flowers and deep green leaf were handmade from repurposed and reworked vintage suede gloves and shiny vintage buttons. All embellishments are hand sewn securely to the collar with great attention to detail. The back of the necklace is lined in smooth satin, which is original to the piece in its former life as a collar. It has been cleaned but shows some very minor discoloration due to its age. Loops of cream-colored satin ribbon and 18 karat gold-filled findings create the chains and clasp on this piece. A vintage faceted glass and brass teardrop bead gives some weight to the end of the chain. This necklace is more substantial in weight and easy to wear. It is sure to turn heads! It can be worn to dress up a simple top or sundress to add even more glamor to an evening look. See less

I won't have time to add more colors but I would be happy to make this locket with any of the other colors I use in my filigree lockets.....just send me a convo. The filigree design reminds me of a intricate gate with a little peek-a-boo window. I've added tiny crystals to the filigree and a cute little brass flower. Through the window is a black bird in the night. The filigree holds shimmering pearl colored resin, and then I sealed the entire front with a coat of clear resin. *I have pre-ordered my supplies for the holiday season. Once I run out of specific findings that will be all I will have until the New Year. The rare and wonderful Decorus globosa, plucked and strung for you to treasure. This silver and silver-plated brass beauty has been strung on a delicate plated chain 50cm (19 3/4 in) in length from clasp to end. The bulb flower hangs about 4cm (1 1/2 in) from the chain which is finished with a flat lobster clasp. Particulars: none of my necklaces are intended for use by children, but the delicate glass in this piece makes it especially inappropriate. The Decorus bulb is strong and sturdy for regular wear, but may break if dropped or directly crushed. The pendant has been constructed using sterling silver and high quality silver-plated, USA produced brass. This lovely necklace will arrive in a gift box tied with vintage ribbon.
