Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend I bought this seat when my son was 10 months old. He was 19lbs & 28 inches long, [born a preemie of 4lbs 7oz]. He fit really good in this seat at 10 months. It's very light weight for me to move in & out from my Honda Pilot to my husband's truck even being 2 months pregnant. It's not bulky unlike some seats and it only takes me 5 minutes to unhook and place into another car and that's even using the teather and installing it properly as I was certified to do when I worked at the hospital. He can sleep in it very comfortably on our 5 hours trips to visit friends in TN. He doesn't sweat in it. It is a little harder to remove the cover and wash because you have to unhook so many straps. I was a little concerned at first when I hooked him in the first time and only one of the harness straps clicked. But later after reading on the second buckle would click and that's how you knew it was secure. I don't recommend this for preemies and... See less
