How to decorate your shrink plastic will depend on what kind it is. For normal shrink plastic, use markers or colored pencils to draw and color in two matching cupcake designs. You can also buy special shrink plastic that can be used in ink jet printers. Obviously, if you use this kind, you can find cupcake clip art and print it out directly onto the shrink plastic. Keep in mind, the finished product will be about a third of the size as the picture you start with, and about 9 times as thick. No matter what kind you use, it should come with directions that should be followed for best results. Once your cupcakes look how you want them, cut them out using ordinary paper scissors. Use a hole puncher to make a hole near the top of your cupcake so you can put it on the earring later. Now, place your cupcakes on a cookie sheet and bake them according to the instructions that came with the shrink plastic (usually just a minute or two). She then matches them into 7 pairs. She decides which ones she wants to be seen more and used them for the inside of the bowl. She used a pattern similar to the one I provide here. Use the pattern for the bottom of the bowl to cut two of your greeting cards (one of your pairs). Use the side pattern to cut out the remaining 12 cards (6 pairs). Hi Everyone! I’m really excited to be hosting this week’s Altered Tuesday! I have a project that will get you ready for Fourth of July using Dani’s Yankee Doodle Candy Kit. This kit is a collaboration between Dani and Kimberly Giarrusso and is full of yummy papers and embellishments that are perfect for all types of projects and LO’s. One of the things I love about this kit is the lime green color thrown into the mix with the traditional red, white and blue - it’s such a fun combination! Today’s project is a Fourth of July centerpiece. How great is that! It’s pearly, it’s a little bit fancy, it’s all together FABULOUS! Materials: Everything I used for the necklace I got at Michael’s store. They have a great bead selection (certain stores more options than others- but I think you can also order online). I also got clasps that had multiple hooks or loops so that I would have more than one strand of beads coming from the one clasp. (I am not sure what those are referred to as). I found them on sale so the brand is not listed on Michael’s site, however, there are others that will substitute nicely. There are also plenty of bead shops and craft shops that I am sure would have great selections. You can find the clear jewelry string (nylon- not stretchy) at Michaels, or fishing line from any local Target or Walmart store will suffice as well.... See less
