With its beautiful black floral pattern reminiscent of vintage Victorian laces, this belt is perfect paired with a blousy feminine top, a sweeping dramatic skirt or even a tight fitting dress. I've layered it onto heavy 6" elastic for durability and stitched it down in the right places to keep the lace stable and smooth fitting. Then I finished off the front with a triple layer of leather, smooth black speedlacers, and lovely shiny black soutash lacing. Size information: (sizes indicated include a 1" - 1.5" gap in the laces - this is part of the design) Please order according to the size ranges below. Here's a hand-made, original-design rockabilly skirt, perfect for rock and roll dancing! A lot of work went into making and applying the hearts, spades, diamonds and clubs appliques. I bought a new/old embroidery machine, and have been learning to use it. I did the appliques on black satin with backing, satin-stitched all around, then hand and machine applied them all around the hem of the skirt. They are not perfect, because I'm just learning to use this machine, but the effect is really spectacular! This super cuddly hat is sized for adults (it can stretch, so it will fit most everyone) I made it from anti-pill polar fleece (even the details) and decorated it with zig-zag stitch embroidery. The ear covers have cords made from matching fleece. It is sewn with an industrial serger, which means two rows of stitching plus a covered edge on the inside for a super strong and comfy finish.
