Panosh

Panosh figures were made of a rubbery-plastic material. Originals were painted with glow-in-the-dark paint (that actually does glow in the dark!). More info can be found here, as well as more examples: http://www.dinosaurcollector.150m.com/panosh.htm The URL above is from The Dinosaur Collector's site--Randy Knol operates this site and is anoted collector of dinosaur (and other prehistoric) figures. He is a regular contributor to the Prehistoric Times Magazine.

Panosh Eryops

Bought from Rick Fulton's Paleoplastic Ebay Store. It could pass for any number of labyrinthodonts as well. I apologize for the picture--this bright orange was really difficult to get a decent photo of.

Panosh Sphenacodon

Created by hankinstein on 1/31/07

Panosh, Linde, and Marx are the only toy companies I know of that produced a Sphenacodon figure. A Permian Pelycosaur, Sphenacodon was a "mammal like" reptile and related to the more familiar Edaphosaurus and Dimetrodon.
