Dated 2002, from the "museum line." Macrauchenia lived in South America during the Pleistocene. Contrary to popular belief, it is not a distant ancestor to the camel. Macrauchenia actually belonged to a group of animals that all went extinct. Its name means "long llama," but it's not related to llamas, either.
