(11/24/11) No matter who I called, I could not confirm that this case would fit my daughter's new Kala Solid Acacia Concert Ukulele but took the plunge and bought it hoping that most ukulele's are standard size. This case fits it perfectly! It is very well built and you can tell someone put their heart into the design. The padding holds the Ukelele snug and holds it from moving around; there is no rattling up and down or side to side. Inside has one pocket to hold little items like a pitch pipe. The buckles are large and sturdy, the hinges at the bottom edge double as metal feet. If you lay the case down, there are three metal buttons on the back that hold the case above the ground. The case opens and closes precisely so the buckles align when you close the case without fiddling with them. The handle is heavily padded and it is positioned so that the instrument is is held up at a slight angle and feels perfectly balanced in your hands.
