(08/26/09) I was SO excited to receive this dress in the mail today but when I tried it on, I was horrified by how short it is. Seriously: crotch-shot short. I'm only 5'5". Also, the dress measures only 30" from shoulder to bottom (unlike the advertised 33"). It's a lovely design that can sit just off the shoulders and the detail at the bottom is great. But only get this dress if you have very opaque tights or are into the whole long shirts over short shorts or stretch pants.See less

The grey tank section is comfy enough even on the hottest of summer days, and the denim bottom provides just enough nautical flair and pocket utility for a lady who still wants to be a lady without the nuisance of a purse. I like finishing the dress by belting it at the waist (to add a little extra oomph to my non-hourglass frame). I've paired it with boots, sandals, and even sneakers, and it works with any of them. The flirty ruffles on the neckline are great for softening a girl who enjoys the sporty look of a tank top. I love walking my dogs in this dress because the pockets fit my keys and a cell phone without the bulk of a jean pocket.See less

(08/26/09) I was looking forward to receiving this dress in the mail, but I am sad to say that I was very disappointed when it finally arrived. I ordered this dress along with another one, both in size medium. The other dress fit perfectly, but this one was too tight to zipper all the way up. The hook clasp at the top of the zipper closed comfortably, even a tad too loose, which leads me to believe that a bigger size would be too big in some areas. Even if I had the sizing adjusted, there was another problem. I usually like dresses with built in bra-padding. This dress has that, but the fabric is somewhat see-through so that you can see the shape of the built-in padding. I could deal with this if it blended in, but the two pads are not even symmetrically lined up - they are each turned in different directions so that it looks like there are two pieces of white paper stuck inside the dress. Sadly, I am going to return the dress, but at least I did get one that I am happy with.See less

And like the other review said, the zipper quality concerns me over time, considering the density of the fabric on the side. That said, it is a super foxy dress! Yes, it is definitely short, but that's part of the reason I love it. Plus, it -feels- shorter than it actually is; it's just the design of the dress that makes it feel that way.
