It has a very straight line from bust to hem and the fagoting detail is very pretty on the linen. I am only 5'4" tall and found the regular length to be even a bit short for me. This would be my only caution in ordering this dress. The rigid construction meant the grapes wouldn’t be squashed before there was a barrel to catch the juice in, and the straps left both hands free to reach for the clusters. Built on the concept of that functional peasant appliance, the harvest basket has a few modifications. Instead of bent sticks for shoulder straps, wide cotton web makes the pack more comfortable to carry on your back even when full. It is woven from the outer peel of rattan, a climbing vine-like palm from Southeast Asia. Rattan is sturdy and durable enough to be made into furniture and martial arts weapons. Despite its strength, rattan is very lightweight, lighter per square inch than a good canvas. The bottom of the basket is reinforced and fitted with an ash wood runner to elevate the basket above wet ground. The basket works for keeping ripe farmer's market tomatoes from getting smashed or picnic sandwiches from flattening....See less
