About Me

I am currently exploring solitude and the joy of having time to follow through ideas and write and read and think about things. Most of my life I am involved in teaching and researching and wondering how communities of practice/inquiry/learning might make us (humanity, I mean) more able to appreciate diversity and work toward emancipation. And I like to do Sudoku, chat with friends, garden (very occasionally), care for my cats, catch up with family, tramp a little, and explore the outdoors. There is never enough time - but I have enrolled in a class to learn a little about water colour painting.
