The children in northern Uganda have never known peace. Thousands have either been abducted by the rebel army; night commuted out of fear, or suffered the horrible effects of Africa’s longest-running war. In a special deal, Invisible Children is packaging all six of the released bracelets - White is for Innocent, Green is for Grace, Red is for Emmy, Black is for Sunday, and Blue is for Roseline. Each bracelet is a different color, and each color represents an individual child and a different aspect of the war in northern Uganda. These colored bracelets are accompanied by an inspiring short film about a child that has been personally affected by this unrelenting war. Our bracelets are handmade in Uganda out of reed that is dyed black. The wire is copper, coated in rubber that is painted for each particular bracelet campaign. Once sold, the money raised helps sustain valuable programs on both sides of the globe. Finally, a bracelet that comes full circle. See less
