Friday 30 May, 2008 After waiting for two weeks, paying 70 dollars, and another 40 dollars in tax, I finally received the Audio Technica ATH-SJ5 Portable Headphones. Besides looking just sweet, it's very light and flexible. The cable is on the short side, but should provide enough length for any hot on-the-road mp3 player action. It's pretty comfortable, but it starts to push on my ears after about an our and a half. The headphones isolate well, but not one hundred percent, which is an advantage; especially in traffic, when you don't want to get mauled by a truck because all you could hear was "hit me baby one more time". I listen mainly to metal, and the Audio-Technica ATH-SJ5 Portable Headphones make sure it sounds just the way I like it. Especially the bass stands out, which is heavy and clean, and not overdone. Sometimes I hear a slight crackle in the music, but I'm still figuring out if it's the headphones, or the quality of the mp3. Overall, it's a great on-the-road headphone for... See less
