Meet Hot Blogger Kathleen of Jeremy & Kathleen!

You’re an award-winning designer so we know you’ve got great taste. How would you describe your personal style aesthetic?
Kathleen: Thank you! When it comes to my personal style aesthetic I would say it's a little quirky, a lot indie, with a touch of vintage and a dash of trendy.
You and your husband have done a bang-up job of decorating your home together. What online stores did you look to for some of the cool, unique pieces around the house?
Aw, shucks! We have a lot of unique and mid-century modern furniture that we've found on Craigslist. And because we live in Oklahoma City we don't have a lot of the great design resources so we really rely online shopping at places like IKEA, Crate and Barrel, Room and Board and CB2.

I am so excited about becoming a full-time freelance designer. The first thing I am buying is a new 27" iMac and some Pantone swatch books. But when it comes to staying organized all I need is a good old-fashioned calendar and Moleskines for notes and sketches.
You’re planning a trek to the Everest Base Camp soon (amazing!). What sorts of gadget-y supplies are you buying and where online are you looking for them?
We've been buying lots of our clothing and equipment through SierraTradingPost.com. I'm looking into getting an altimeter watch and some good dry shampoo.
If you could splurge on one thing for your new home office, what would it be?
An Eames storage unit. I've been obsessing over this shelving system for year.
Check out all of Kathleen's essentials and let us know what you think of her style in the comments!
