Plungers Get Posh

Posted by jinnyjinn on Jul 10, 2009
I live in apartment that’s older than dirt and things sometimes just don’t work right…as is to be expected. Case in point—the toilet, which randomly makes noises in the middle of the night and doesn’t always flush (I know, ew). I’m frequently grabbing the plunger from the left side of the loo. But perhaps I wouldn’t mind it as much if I had one of these posh plungers ($14) from Alice Supply Co. Although the camo-print plunger (above) is cool, I think the striped one would make a posh addition to my old-school restroom.

  • Mine is like 25 years old but they recently renovated everything and I honestly love this place. For what I pay it's so much nicer than ones I've seen costing a lot more. And maintenance takes care of any issues promptly. I really can't complain. Except when the cops come to tell me I'm not supposed to cook on my balcony. Phooey. I just think they like to come so they'll get a bite. :) Report Spam Posted by lamerchick at 10:36 AM on 07/10/09

  • @lamerchick - I think the cops are just trying to flirt with you ;) Report Spam Posted by jinnyjinn at 10:40 AM on 07/10/09

  • I actually wonder if it's that or the food or both. :) And I know it doesn't bother most of my neighbors but there are also ordinances about it. :( And I have a fire extinguisher right there. It's funny, one of my best friends had to come once and she's acting all official and I'm trying not to laugh and then she comes inside and says "ok, get the food and let's eat, I'm hungry". :) I have no problem at all with my police, and they always go away in a good mood. :) Report Spam Posted by lamerchick at 11:01 AM on 07/10/09

  • I'd like a carbon-fiber plunger to go with the carbon-fiber toilet seat I would like to get. That way, EVERYTHING goes faster... lol. Report Spam Posted by kabroskie at 11:03 AM on 07/10/09

  • Ewww. :p Wouldn't that make the plunger not flexible though? Just a thought... Report Spam Posted by lamerchick at 11:13 AM on 07/10/09
