Time Flies Clocks - Set...
Is it just me or is it hard to adjust to the new time? I went to bed at 2:30 a.m. Sunday morning, but the time change made it 3:30 a.m., and my body’s clock is still out of whack! Argh. Well, enough of my complaining…it’s time to talk about this nifty Time Flies Clock (or more accurately, this set of 3 clocks) from Suck UK ($80)! This clock set allows you to tell the time in New York, London, and Hong Kong all at once—and while you could just as easily do this on your computer, it’s still damn cool.

Are you having a hard time adjusting to the time like me?

  • Hell no! I love DST!!! I live the entire Winter for it. I have huge smiley faces drawn on the calendar for that day. I love the extra hour of daylight in the evening. Maybe you should have gone to bed earlier than 2:30... ;) Oh, and why do the have the NY clock smack dab in the middle of Kansas? ;) Report Spam Posted by lamerchick at 6:10 AM on 03/10/09

  • @lamerchick - Hahaha I'm not sure why New York is in the central plains. I know, I know...I should have gone to bed much earlier. My bad. Report Spam Posted by jinnyjinn at 9:17 AM on 03/10/09

  • Actually, London and Hong Kong aren't in the correct places either. These clocks would be fantastic if they weren't geography challenged. Report Spam Posted by lavabunny at 9:21 AM on 03/10/09

  • Lol...geography challenged... :D Great one LB! The New York one just really caught my eye because, well, you know...it's almost on top of my apt. I know it would be kind of weird if they put them in geographically correct locations. Then they'd all be lopsided.JJ, you know, if you went to bed at 2:30 local time, it was really 3:30 local time at that point. :) Were you a good girl and move your clocks ahead while you were still awake, or did you wait until you got up? :) Curious minds just want to know... ;) Report Spam Posted by lamerchick at 9:27 AM on 03/10/09

  • @lavabunny - You are so right! You and lamerchick are two very perceptive gals! That, and you two know your geography very well! I mean, I know NYC isn’t hard, but I couldn’t tell you where to find Hong Kong on a map! Bravo!@lamerchick - Let me tell you--I'm notorious for taking like a week to change my clocks. So I didn't even change them. My fiance changed all the ones in the apt., but on Sunday afternoon when we were driving to San Fran, I changed the one in my car at a stoplight without any reminder! I make myself sound so lazy haha. How about you? Changed the night before? Report Spam Posted by jinnyjinn at 10:12 AM on 03/10/09

  • Lol!! You know, for how anxious I am for that day, I never change them until the next morning. And then I always leave one on the old time for like a month of so. Why??? I have no idea. Lol. I think it's to remind me that my kitty doesn't change her clock and it helps me remember what time to feed her without getting confused and having to think about it. Then I slowly readjust her feeding time. And THEN I finally change that last clock. :) Report Spam Posted by lamerchick at 10:21 AM on 03/10/09

  • Lol...So I guess I have my own time zone...KFT...Kitty Feeding Time. :D Report Spam Posted by lamerchick at 10:22 AM on 03/10/09

  • I hate the time changes too, we're still out of it. It will take at least a week for us to get used to it! But I'm happy that it won't get dark by 5 pm anymore! Report Spam Posted by weslee at 10:31 AM on 03/10/09

  • @weslee - I hear ya. I went out for a jog last night (not by myself of course--so not safe) and it was still bright at 6:30! Love that part of the time change! Report Spam Posted by jinnyjinn at 2:00 PM on 03/10/09
