Chances are both you and I will be working toward retirement for a long, long (long) time. That said, I think most folks underestimate the extent to which a well-outfitted work environment can support a person in their efforts to obliterate a daunting workload.

If breakfast truly is the most important meal, I think I need to eat more breakfasts. I'd buy the milk each week if we could only install one of these.

Ideally, the left canister would provide a steady dose of sweet, chocolaty Cocoa Krispies. Then, the right side would be some agreed upon rotation of Rice Krispies w/ Strawberries, Fruit Loops, Corn Pops, Rice Chex, or Captain Crunch w/ Crunchberries.

mmm... cereal

the right side must also rotate fruity pebbles and I'm in on the milk every other week

This thing is cool, by poor teeth are hurting. There must be a ton of sugar in all those ^ cereals. Can we rotate something a little bit less sugary and more healthy in there too? And 1% milk please? :)

1%? That is only half as much as 2%! 2% rules.

Long live 2%!!!!!

Conference calls can last forever. You might as well practice your RB2 and GHWT drumming skills while all the self-important people are busy wasting your time. You only live once.

I should get these. I could use all the practive I can get. I suck at RB and I so want to play the drums. But I keep my friends laughing at least, until I fail.

Most people prefer the new refillable drafting pencils... not me, I love these old blue-barrel wooden jobs. Each pencil has a slightly different lead composition. In general, hard pencils (≤9H) draw light lines; soft pencils (≥6B) draw darker and wider lines.

I have witnessed folks at my job pilfer each other's thumb drives without asking. I grew tired of this and decided to lock the suckas out for good with this here doohickey, and now I can go about updating my resume in relative peace.

My last secure drive failed (with lots of stuff on it) :( Looking for a new one. Do you recommend this one? I need for things like banking and such.

The good news: this thing looks cool and is an impenetrable fortress. The bad news: it is only available in a 1GB size and the mandatory OS which loads from the drive is a little too James Bond for its own good. It also tries to establish a web connection every time you plug it in. I wasn't too fond of this so I zapped it with my firewall software, but if you connected this elsewhere it may not ask you first. If I had the money back in my pocket, I would probably just buy one of these jobs. (480 yen is about $5.45 USD)

Thanks. I had a Lexar and it really annoyed me that it died and I couldn't recover my stuff. And their support was worthless. They told me I could send it to them and they "might" be able to recover it. Sure, I'm going to send a drive with personal data on it to some complete stranger, huh? :( Anyway, I don't like things connecting to the web whenever they feel like it either. Thanks for that. :( Hmmm, sigh. That lock thing looks interesting, too bad I don't read Japanese. :)

This is a goofy machine. You select one of a multitude of different single-serving flavor packs (coffee, espresso, hot cocoa, tea, chocochini, etc.) and then select that item on the on-screen menu. The lid pops open, you insert the pack and then, after a sudden squirt noise and a bit of a hiss, you have about 10 oz. of rather decent tasting you-name-it.
