You may think that this might not have been a good use of their time, but you'd be wrong. Combining quantum mechanics and nano-technology, or more likely neither, minds immeasurably superior to ours have cracked it - or possibly just cracked, and at last the world has been enriched with Remote Control Lederhosen. Not only do these ludicrous trousers hop about in a suitably laughable manner (just in case they weren't laughable enough anyway), they also, of course, yodel. They come with a frankfurter control that doesn't control them much, and even have traditional Bavarian details on the seams and pockets! Following on from the spectacular success of our unfathomable Binary Watch, we introduce the Morse Code Watch. Hailed as being the only Morse Code Watch in the world (a not unsurprising claim come to think of it), and very hard to come by outside of Tokyo, it's about as different and dotty as it gets. The watch has three modes for telling the time, two of them somewhat impenetrable and one of them straight forward. As its name suggests, the principal way it announces the time is by beeping out the hours and minutes in Morse Code through an in-built speaker. In the very likely event that you didn't quite catch all the dit dit dah dahing in your panic to decipher them, you'll be relieved to know that you can see the time displayed in red LEDs on the watch face. This of course is also in Morse Code, and as it's quite probable that your code breaking skills are a tad on the rusty side, you'll still have absolutely no idea of what the time is. I mean, how amazing is this Beard Cap? I would love to have one of those, especially being here in Boston. It’s made of wool and comes in 3 different colors and styles. I love that it covers almost your entire head, it looks sooooo warm. It’s made by a design group called Vik Prjónsdóttir who work in Iceland and think of all sorts of ingenious ways of keeping people warm, like blankets made for two and “robes” shaped like seal pelts. Lots of weird, but fun, projects. See less
