I hope this helps someone. We lost our dog (toxic poisoning) because he ate wild grapes from a vine in our yard. The grapes he ate had fallen from the vine and were purple (ripe). The Vet said grapes and raisins are deadly to many dogs while not a problem to others.

Don't take a chance. If you discover your dog has eaten some grapes, take him/her to the Vet immediately. Time is NOT on your side. The sooner they can draw blood to get a count the sooner they can tell if their kidneys are in trouble.
