To poach or not to poach? That is the question. Well, that was the question when I went to visit my Grandmother’s house. She was in possession of one of the most amazing egg poaching machines I’ve ever seen. Huge and finicky, but quick, the machine could deliver 12 (yes, a dozen) perfectly poached eggs in under five minutes. Impressive, indeed, but I only ate poached eggs at her house since I wasn’t about have a legitimate use for giant dozen egg poacher. Problem solved. Technology mostly creates smaller and smaller, considerably more complex machines, and yet, in some cases it falls upon something so simple it’s frightening. With these silicone pods, you cannot only poach the perfect egg by floating it over hot water, you can also bake custards and chocolates that require delicate cooking methods. Stop trying so hard or needing to have the “touch.” Take advantage of a little technology and make your morning a whole lot easier and a bit more gourmet. Imagine…the Eggs Benedict is just...
