I'm Marla, I'm 30 years old, and I hate writing about myself. I love writing though, it's what I "do" in a way, and say if asked the inevitably awful question "What do you do?". Better than saying I'm disabled, which is also true, and the reason why I don't do more or do at all. Fibromyalgia is the culprit, and thanks to fibro fog (also ADD, oh no!) it makes writing a bit harder these days... damn shame. But it does explain my affinity for the word "incurable".

I write screenplays, I'm quite the film geek (don't like saying buff, seems too pretentious) and appreciate anything that pays homage to film noir, especially in fashion. I don't always wear all black, only 90% of the time. Okay, 95%..
I love Charles Bukowski, tigers, orchids, Marlon Brando, muscle and classic cars, my cats, Star Wars, big belt buckles, Orson Welles, making shirts, Gears of War, and tattoos.. to name a few things.
I dislike anything that makes me cringe, because when I cringe I squint my eyes, and squinting my eyes gives me wrinkles. No thank you. I also dislike anything/anyone ignorant or pretentious, Lady Gaga, and peas.
I have three totally awesome, amazing, rocker cats; Dirk, Titus and Maxwell. The current loves of my life, they're above it all, even if they're really not.
And last but not least, I'm passionate, especially about the things I live for and love. That's it, I'm just a regular chick with a new addiction to kaboodle. Apparently I don't hate writing about myself as much as I thought I did.. learn something new every day. Rock n' Roll.
