The Resonator

Established furniture maker and luthier, Gareth Hill, branches out to create the ultimate non-electric iPhone accessory: the Resonator. This finely crafted item is the result of much research and sand-boxing of its sound-enhancing properties. The internal channel allows the single speaker on an iPhone to be naturally amplified. An additional separate channel has been created for insertion of charging cable (user supplied), allowing listening whilst charging (if desired). The front of The Resonator is easily removed for this purpose. The sound holes contain hand-beaten aluminum resonators which are instrumental in a 15dB sound amplification. The hand-beating process yields a more brittle resonator resulting in an improved sound output without batteries or electricity.
