This week, Mary from Etsy lets us in on one of this season's hottest jewelry trends. Naturally, we're totally smitten with her gorgeously rugged finds and have a feeling you will be too!

With references to natural history popping up as one of this season's hottest trends, it's all about getting back to basics. The incorporation of raw materials in jewelry is growing in popularity and we just can't get enough of the bezel set, open pronged, and irregular formations of these tough-looking minerals.

The stripped-down rough edges of natural crystal pair unbelievably well with the solid gray and beige clothing palettes trending this fall and winter. Healing qualities aside, I'm positive you'll be itching to get your hands on more than a few of the handmade designs in the slideshow above.

This collection is stunning, and I am thrilled to be a part of it! Rough cuts are gorgeous, rustic, and edgy. As with Handmade, perfect lines and cookie cutter design are not the only way to make beautiful jewelry. These natural stones are perfect for any modern attire!
