I've had a clear case for my video iPod. It is the best for both protecting the iPod and the look.

The pink...I'm a partial to pink. The metallic purple is a bit too much.

Purple and red don't go together, in my opinion. I'd stick with clear, so they can still see the original color of iPod they chose.

you might be able to wash it off with a wet towel if it gets dirty, and it will show off your ipod better

Everyday use? Always go with clear, white, or black.
