This 13 inch baby teething necklace is made with natural multi-colored Baltic Amber beads and hand-knotted in between each bead to help prevent losing all of the beads if it breaks. I purchase the stones from a small family business in Lithuania. Their amber is natural and they do not accept or use any pressed (reconstituted) amber. Their main source is from the Russian region of Kaliningrad which is off of the Baltic coast. Baltic Amber is actually fossilized tree resin which contains succinic acid which has the main purpose of pain relief. When worn against the skin, the body’s heat helps warm the oils from the amber and absorbs into the skin. Succinic acid has also been known to stimulate neural system recovery and bolster the immune system, and helps compensate for energy drain in the body and brain, boosting awareness, concentration, and reflexes, and reducing stress.
