Sometimes I even need to remind myself, that this is a hemp necklace. I used dark black dyed 6ply soft hemp to create the tight, intricate knots in my personally designed 6 string lace pattern. Strung on this piece are 5 shiny black swarovski crystal components set in detailed pewter bead backgrounds. These black jewels give just enough shine for elegance while keeping a very Gothic mono-chrome effect. As a focal point I attached a antique silver colored Egyptian ankh pendant (the symbol for eternal life), and upon it dangled bright silver plated chain for just the right elegant touch. This necklace fits from a 13-16" neck. It is equipped with a stainless steel clasp and silver plated extender chain.
