And the Club is, naturally, a NOMOS watch through and through: in the sturdy model, which is suitable for all occasions, ticks a fine Glashütter manufactory calibre with a manual winding mechanism and other fine watch making refinements. The Club comes in two versions; one is light, the other dark. The hands of the dark Club are rhodium-plated with SuperLumiNova. The hour and minute hands glow at night. The hands of the light Club are red and black respectively. Naturally both cost just as much, or as little: 780 euros. (12/30/07) The Tangente Sport is the more robust sister model of the standard Tangente version. Whit this watch you can go swimming, sailing, and diving. Its case back is secured with six screws. The sporty silver grey dial bears markings filled with SuperLumiNova, as do the hands. They glow in the dark. Tangente Sport also looks excellent on the completely unathletic person - and especially on someone with slightly broader wrists. It costs 990 euros. An evolution of the Tangente Sport model is the Tangente Sport Date, which includes a date display. This particular feature often makes the movement of other wristwatches look a little bulky, but that problem has been cleverly solved at NOMOS - the date ring was simply designed around the movement instead of on top of it as usual. However, it shouldn't be termed a ladies' watch - at NOMOS, we don't distinguish between the sexes. Tetra is available in two sizes: either 27.5 or 29.5 mm per side. Which explains the difference in price: The small Tetra model costs 960 euros, the large one 1,020 euros, and the model with sapphire crystal case back 1,140 euros.See less

(12/30/07) Our Orion model reminds some people of previous decades -though there has never been a watch like this before. Its shape is perhaps the most modern of all our watches. Though this model also has much in common with the Tangente, the rounder case and the beautifully domed crystals create a striking difference visually. There is a version with a light dial and one with an anthracite-colored dial with silver-plated white markers, available with either a stainless steel or a sapphire crystal case back. The light-colored model with a stainless steel case back is also available with gold-plated markers. Prices: 960 or 1,160 euros (version with sapphire crystal case back).See less

In them, however, the first NOMOS automatic calibres are at work: these movements Epsilon and Zeta were designed, developed and manufactured entirely at NOMOS. It is thanks to them that NOMOS was knighted with the additional distinction "manufactory." In 2005 consumers and journalists tested the Tangomat and Tangomat Date models over a period of several months and both watches will now go into normal serial production. Tangomat and Tangomat Date are watches, whose excellent accuracy are already highly commended. Their backs are fastened with six screws and the watches are waterproof to 30 metres. The Tangomat model with the patented date mechanism costs 1,880 euros, without 1,580.See less

It also is available only in a solid case back to provide increased water resistance. During our recent visit to the Nomos workshops, we saw first hand the production of these movements, including all of the intricate operations necessary to produce the individual parts, cut and clean the metal, and create the movements using two separate lactations in the very small village of Glashütte , Germany. To create the parts for such a movement in-house is an extraordinary achievement for a company of Nomos' size. The movement begins with a traditional Glashütte 3/4 plate which is rhodium plated and decorated with Glashütte ribbing and Langeleist perlage.
