There is a hand tooled detail line around the whole book, and a beautiful antique silver plated snap holds the journal closed to protect the pages. The journal measures 5 3/4" x 4 3/4" and is 2" thick. There are 320 pages (counting both sides) of off white 65 lb cardstock paper that is a dream to write on and will also accept most other forms of dry media. The paper has specks of color all over it, that makes it really beautiful and inspiring! A super strong waxed thread was used for the longstitch binding. There is also a thread place holder to keep you on the right page!See less
