It is great for teaching them about lining objects up to fit into openings, as well as counting. The toy actually counts with them as the deposit each coin into the bank. She loves the song that plays as well, she will continually push the nose until she finds the song and when it is done she will do it again! Definately one of the best toys she rec'd this Christmas! With the plastic pigs, you can see the money in the pig. The kids love fattening up the pig. Also, this was unintentional, but my 1 year old did a pretty good job stress testing the pig. Let's just say the pig can withstand a 1 year old pounding him on a hard wood floor. The kids love putting stickers on the pig saying what they are saving up for as well.
