It has been handcut and features a keyhole with decorative details around its edge. The band is 0.5" wide in back. The ring is a size 5 but due to the wide band it would fit a 4.5 better. The front measures 1.5" tall and .75" across. The silver has a brushed finish and has been given an oxidized patina. I made this ring for a custom order but it did not turn out the way I had planned so I have decided to offer it up for sale here.See less

(11/28/09) My Relic pieces are forays into industrial vs organic, hardedged juxtaposed with soft curves. Always adventurous, this piece is no exception! I created a dramatic pendant using sterling wire - the individual pieces were hammered and lightly textured. These components were then carefully added to a slightly curved section of higher gauge wire - some strands with the addition of etched onyx rondelles, or teensy leopard skin jasper rounds. Attached to the pendant are coordinating gemstones and a generous section of chain - an ornate Balinese silver toggle clasp provides the closure. Lastly, this was oxidised and rubbed back selectively, which adds to the organic feel of this piece.
