I "purchased" this unit in March 2007 (actually Sears and PetroCanada did, and i tossed in some money for the extended warranty - I drive professionally for a living, Sears Points add up quickly!). After getting it home and reassembling the door to swing open the other direction (a complicated procedure, spend the 50 bucks and have sears do it unless you are really good with tools and half rate instructions!) we pushed it into postion, plugged it in, then: nothing but a real quiet hum........ Compared to our last Frigidaire (approx 20 yrs old) this unit runs more quietly and less frequently, for shorter durations even, and seems to have abundantly more interior room. Nice features are the glass shelves for easy cleaning, the slide outs on two of the shelves, the humidity control crispers, and the fabulous pull out bottom freezer! The oddly designed butter tray and the cheap door shelves could be improved, and the guide for the freezer basket which allows too much freeplay when sliding... See less

"After searching far and wide for a suitable dresser for my daughter's room we settled on the South Shore - 5 Drawer Chest. Our main criteria was, white and reasonaly priced. The dresser was ordered online from the Home Depot web site. I was a little supprised that I was unable to have the unit shipped to my local Home Depot, this would have been the most convienient option whereas we are a working family and it is difficult to have someone home to sign for the package. It arrived in only 4 days, we were impressed with the shipping time, however, one of the side pannels was damaged. After a number of tries I managed to get everything to fit back into the origional box without any large bumps sticking out. I contacted Home Depot and was issued a return number. A new dresser was shipped and it arrived without any obvious flaws. It was relitively easy to put together and looks very nice. Some of the materials are a a little "weak" for lack of a better term. The drawer rails are plastic... See less
