Preparation: Create a family dice by cutting out six 6-inch squares of card stock. On each square write one of the following words: Dad, Mom, Brother, Sister, Baby, and Grandma/Grandpa. Tape the edges of the cards together to make a cube. Obtain 6 hats that could represent each person (or use boxes, bowls, baskets, etc.) and label each hat with one of the names on the cube. Print the list for each person (see below) and cut it into strips. Put each persons strips into their hat. Presentation: Explain that Heavenly Father planned for each of us to be part of a family. Some families have one or two people in them, some families have many people in them, but they help us and we should help them. Tell them that today they are going to learn about some of the people in a family. Have a child come to the front of the room and roll the game cube.
