I'm not Japanese, however. I do have an extreme affinity for Japanese and Japanese people, though, and am hoping that someone will have the patience to teach me the language one day. That's not the point of this blog, though. This is mostly a blog about Scientology Volunteer Ministers. I started as a Scientology Volunteer Minister in Portland when we had some intense flooding there that was drowing out peoples' houses. I've continued from there, and at this point am using the fact that I'm on the Internet to get as much data known as possible about what Scientology Volunteer Ministers are doing. This is my first shot on this new beta blogger blog. I had FPM running on Eponym before (fastpagemode.eponym.com), but unfortunately the free blogs on eponym have a 100MB/month limit. A few good posts on digg, and all of the sudden I found my popularity overstepping itself, and found my blog always being shut down for the latter half of the month. Why do Volunteers Burn Out? People want to help. But how frustrating is it when you use your own precious free time with the idea of helping people and it just doesn't work? Anyone who has tried to help friends or family members has run into this phenomenon: You see someone who obviosly is in trouble, or he or she comes to you for advice. You are distant from it and can see so clearly what they should do to improve the situation. But you suggest it and they tell you - no and give you one or five and 50 reasons why it can't work. Or what about this: You have a friend or family member who has experienced a terriby loss - a love affair gone wrong, the death of a dear friend or a sister or husband - or even worse, the death of a child. Maybe they think they're to blame for it. If only they had.... You see their lives change before your eyes. The enthusiasm and joy of living is gone. They are encased in a universe that resonates with the loss. What can you possibly do to help them? No... See less

I don't know much of anyone who hasn't, at some point in time, poked fun at how bad our current leadership is. If you go through CNN.com or the Wall Street Journal or even TheOnion.com, you'll find every manner of jest at the incompetence of today's leaders. However, what would you say if you knew that there was an actual, architected plan at work to ensure that the leaders of tomorrow were more incompetent, more controllable, and more susceptible to being pushed around by big corporations and vested interests? I read an intriguing article on humanrights4all.org (part of the Scientology Effective Solutions series, by the Church of Scientology International ) describing the architected plan of psychiatrists and drug companies to destroy our future leaders with mind-numbing drugs so as to make people easier to control. Strip clubs and other places for illegal drugs and cut-rate prescription drugs make this the Mos Eisley of planet earth.
