I had to go up a size because they seemed to run small, but after wearing them a full day (which made them un-returnable) they stretched out and haven't fit right since. The width is fine, but they seem to have gotten longer...? The strap doesn't even touch my heal so they are constantly sliding off. This is a hand-cast reproduction of a cocktail pick from the historic Waldorf Astoria hotel in New York City. In the 1930 s until the 50 s, they were used to skewer martini olives at the hotel s bar. Our light-colored brass version has traces of polishing rouge still visible in the indentations, adding to it s well-used, antique look. The double-sided pendant is 2 3/4" long, and the end has been rounded to prevent it from stabbing anyone accidentally. A 15" length of antique faceted brass chain is threaded directly through a small hole in the skewer and closes in the back with a brass spring ring clasp. The necklace hangs high up on the chest, close to the neck. See less
