These fit onto my neck (which is 12" in circumference) fine, but keep in mind these do fit small to medium sized necks best. These are all stamped W. Germany, which puts the date of production sometime between 1949 and 1990. Truly unique and a perfect necklace for any collector or aficionado of vintage early plastics.
