Sandoval's languid, weeping willow voice is Mazzy Star; the name is a mere formality. With nods to Nico and the Velvet Underground, So Tonight that I Might See is vintage Mazzy. Remarkably, the recording produced a strikingly undanceable single, "Fade into You," that ascended to respectable rotation on college and AAA radio. The rest of the album sticks close to the single's plaintive, retro balladry. Though Sandoval rarely raises her voice above a sultry whisper, it's bright enough to hold your attention all night. --Nick HeilSee less

So if i want to view the mirror with the lights working i will have to go spend $250 on some transformer device that will reduce the electrical current flow so the bulbs won't burst! Fortunately the mirror itself is of high standard even without the lights.....but i really was looking forward to using them so i may still spend the extra cash! (12/02/08) These earrings are approx 25mm x 25mm ( 1''square) . Edelweiss flower on hoops in Sterling Silver. The total length from top of hoop to bottom of flower is approx. 40mm (just over 1.5"). The hoops have a slight hammered texture and the Flowers have been handcut and cast. I made these as a reminiscence of my time spent in a small Austrian village called Alt-Aussee near Salzburg, where my Grandfather used to live. We did a lot of walking around the hills and mountains and, as a child, I was able to find some Edelweiss (which is now protected). These are available in polished (as in the photo) or in a satin finish. If you do not state a preference, I will send you the polished ones.
