That way, I just go bam! bam! bam! without a problem. Unless your stupid cousin moves around like an idiot (lol). But really, it is a good toy. I'd say it has no educational value, but it is really fun shooting other people though it says not to. I don't follow directions (lol). Your child will love this. Oh! May I reccomend that you buy a bunch of these for a birthday party and give them to all the guests and make two teams, turn out the lights, and shoot each other until a team wins! Trust me, I'm not a boring guy. Your children will love this idea. Unless you know, They are just school nerds who'd rather play a trading card game tournament. Hope you guy like my idea!! Have fun with the War! that is, if you decide to have a war. Plus, I think you should give the guns away as a party gift (for coming)....See less

(10/20/09) Although the Big Bad Bow (known in the Nerf Internet Community [N.I.C.] as the BBB or 3B) is a re-release of the discontinued original, nothing has changed. The BBB is still a decent high powered single shot spring blaster. Though not as famed or as powerful as the also discontinued Crossbow, the BBB makes a suitable replacement. The gun is quite useless for someone who is not prepared to mod it properly, with only six foam arrows, which should never be used in a serious war, and a meager range of 40 feet, the stock BBB is a bit of a joke. The actual bow parts don't really do anything, they are just for show, and add nothing to the gun. When properly modded, however, the BBB is an excellent weapon. Firstly, the barrel must be replaced. With a good brass, crayola, or PETG barrel replacement, the gun can often fire mini stefan darts 90-100 feet. It's not a bad idea to re-lube the gun as well. A Game Master puts the names of four players into a hat and passes out four Nerf Elimination Blasters to each player (and 2 screaming Nerf darts per blaster). You take a name out of the hat, memorize it, and eat the paper. That name is your target; and the target is kept a secret. And then . . . the battle begins. Once you take out your target, they whisper the name of their target in your ear. And as we said, the last one standing wins. Ok, so we added the "eat the paper" part to the basic game play described in the game. The cool thing is that you get a whole set of covert blasters and screaming darts. We like loading them up and going one on one - guns blazing (or nerfing, rather) in each hand. And the screaming darts are fun; they whistle as they tear through the air, giving a more enjoyable "under fire" experience. And when the gun looks as cool as this all-plastic Air Tech Ball Blaster from Nerf, the experience is even more gratifying. The Ball Blaster's design is quite simple, and consequently, it's very easy to use. Just push the four foam balls (included) into the launch tube, and you're loaded. When you have a target in sight, grab the front barrel handle and pull it towards you. Only one ball will fire at a time, but with a little practice you should be able to unleash a fierce volley of four foam projectiles in short order. The one we tested was surprisingly accurate and was powerful enough to cross a medium-sized room quickly. The manufacturer explicitly warns against firing the Ball Blaster at other people or animals, but the foam balls are very soft and lightweight and would probably not be fatal if one should be accidentally fired at an annoying sibling or coworker... just kidding, of...See less

The best weapon we've found for the task of cubicle defense and water cooler offence is the Nerf Recon CS-6 (the "CS" stands for "Butt Kicker"). Let's explore together what makes this the weapon you must have in your office arsenal. First off, you have the blaster itself. Lock and load the clip of 6 Streamline darts and you are ready to shoot. Need a little more support? Just snap on the stock. Digging in? (10/20/09) ok, first off the longshot has become known as the best nerf gun ever on nerfer websites has ranges aver 100 feet and the rate of fire of a maverick. however...the people on these sites modify their guns and make them better, to get this kind of range you have to put an extra spring in the gun, and remove the air restrictor. this took me about 2 hours... if you are around 12 or over and can handle taking things apart and putting them back together this gun is a must. but if you are much younget than 11 or so do not buy this, buy a maverick. mavericks have better accuracy at the 30 foot range that this thing gets out of the box and are easer to load. the accuracy problem can be solved by making home made darts to find out how to do this go to nerfhaven,com but do not buy unless you are willing to modify it. sry this review was so long=( Comment | Permalink | Was this review helpful to you?
