Unfortunately, all the soft plastic tools are long gone, as my brother was very hard on most of our toys. Found this gem while cleaning out an old barn, has some rusty spots that make it look really neat in my opinion. Inside the lid it says "rubber-like soft plastic tools non marking flexible" with the Ohio Art logo. Opens and closes well, if you'd like more photos please let me know. I was full of anticipation as we opened up the container, after all, I would spend hours and hours playing with them when I was a kid. Well as we opened up the container and spilled them onto the carpet, my heart suck.... "What the heck is this" I said. Where are little wooden logs??? Where is that familiar smell that the old lincoln logs had... if you played with them you know what I am talking about. These things weren't Lincoln logs, They were plastic!!!!! Seriously, are the toy manufactures and toy regulators scared that we might get a little sliver on our little fingers. UGhhh I am ranting...sorry. (11/09/11) This is a rare find! This is the "Blue Box" Plastic Toy Series Car and Boat Trailer Set "For the Vacationer". This is a really neat vintage plastic toy in its original box. Made in Hong Kong by Blue Box Toys in the 1960's. The set includes an Austin A55 - blue, red side flash and green/cream Healey Sports Boat on red Trailer, similar to the Dinky Toys models . The set is in good orginal condition and is the original box. When looking the piece over, I did notice that there was a trailer post on one side of the back of the trailer and not on the other so that may be something that was broken off/is missing. I only noticed it when photographing it for this sale and I want to be sure to mention it. The box is in very good condition with only a bit of shelf wear and a few dents here and there. All of his stickers are nice with just a little play wear. It does seem that his head joint has a pin in it. It still works well, it swivels, and bend, and turns. The pin is in the base of his neck and is not noticable unless his head is bent over his neck. He does not come with any wepons or accessories. This is the metal body version.
