On one side is a beautiful light blue background with flame orange showy flowers and a little light green. One the other is a more modern chocolate brown with a circular, almost stylized flower in the same light blue as the other side. Wear it either way depending on you moods. The headband measures approximately 2" at its widest point and 21" when elastic is not stretched. The fabric is reinforced with interfacing to add sturdiness and shape. I actually recreated this hat from one I saw on someone out and about this past winter. It is a medium thickness so would be good for a chilly spring or fall day or a milder winter day.
