This is an organization based in DC that works with colleges and universities to prepare women for leadership and civic responsibility. They might be an interesting sponsor.

We might see if they are willing to be a sponsor. They already do a lot to support the community (e.g., awards, small grants) and it would be good for us to forge a deeper connection.

This is an international membership association for individuals interested in spirituality in the workplace. It appears that they have an annual conference and might be willing to tradeout advertising.

Download the Exhibitor and Sponsorship Registration Forms to see a wide variety of sponsorship ideas, complete with prices. This organization rocks - just like their proposal process, the sponsorship process seems very transparent and straightforward (and while it is not really important, the contact person for conferences is named Hirsh, just like me!). They also have a "send this page" and "print this page" button on all of their key pages, very user friendly.

What I liked here was (1) the blurb (2) the fact that they are open to taking up to $20K and some of these options seems like they would appeal to our potential sponsors (3) in the pdf they let you know that you can get noticed even if you can't attend/exhibit (4) in the same pdf they list their past sponsors and the list is quite varied (5) they are based in Alexandria so it would be easy for John to meet with them

Take a look at who OD Network has sponsoring their conference - I am in awe, if we could get into this league we could do so much more for attendees (and perhaps even reduce fees).

And they have some folks sponsoring them who are based in the Baltimore-Washington area so we might want to target them knowing they have sponsored the OD Network.

I like the table they use on this site because it makes things very explict and easy to compare in terms of what you get for your money.

I also like the blurb they have at the beginning on why it makes sense to be a sponsor.

And finally the pdf with speciality sponsorship options is full of ideas that we might want to consider - I'd like us to work on getting a sponsor for the LCD projectors and for a cyber cafe.
