Heavily Weighted (Union X...

Created by keeptrackofmygifts on 5/26/07

Congratulations are in order to Union, which relaunches its flagship store in New York on May 18th. Union has been a strong supporter of 10.Deep since 1997, and 10 years later, it continues to be a breeding ground and institution for what we now know... See more more

From the genii who brought you "All Posers Must Die" text on top of an action hero president, comes the tribute to one unknown man's audacity, persistence, stupidity perhaps. Visually ev "Well, I should stop pointing fingers; reserve my judgment of all those public action figures, the cowboy presidents. So loud behind the bullhorn so proud they can't admit when they've made a mistake. While poison ink spews from a speechwriter's pen, he knows he don't have to say it, so it, it don't bother him. "Honesty" "Accuracy" is just "Popular Opinion." And the approval rating is high, and so someone's gonna die. Well, ABC, NBC, CBS: Bullshit. They give us fact or fiction? I guess an even split. And each new act of war is tonight's entertainment. We're still the pawns in their game. As they take eye for an eye until no one can see, we must stumble blindly forward, repeating history. Well, I guess we all fit into your slogan on that fast food marquee: Red blooded, White skinned oh and the Blues. Oh and the Blues! I got the Blues! That's me! That's me!" - Conor Oberst

More Big-Brother-is-watching-you goodness. The fact that as Thom Yorke says "this is really happening" makes Obey arguably the most relevant brand in a see of mindless wankers. Read http://blog.wired.com/27bstroke6 for more info on what I'm talking about.

BoundlessNY brings us ROCKERS NYC's tee, Peace=Haight | You can't have one with out the other.

Highlights: $43.99 USD

I was not sure if I was supposed to feel Opie Ortiz Sublime or Todd McFarlane (Spawn, "Do The Evolution" - Pearl Jam.) So I went to Rockers NYC's site. They have a nice Flash implementation which accentuated the influences visible in this one piece. Posters of Bag Youth hang below the Misfits. MF Doom's to the right of Scream and to the left of The Adolescents. Africa turned into a Jamaican flag. This is clearly a scene I missed and never tried to be part of. I thought they were mocking the 90's. If there website doesn't convince you they're serious about rocking the 90's, their blog will. They look like they are having a romping good time though. I've never written a comment this verbose, but this one t-shirt literally amused - it became something of a mystery worth shedding light on. When I see this t-shirt, I feel like its market is cynical Phish heads, the wasted youth of Generation X who collected more comics, concert posters, and bootlegs than sneakers, mySpace friends, and blogs about themselves.

Grn Apple Tree - Zebra Hoody (Black)

Someone had to do it. Grn Apple Tree were those guys. I'd like to see what people think of this hoody in 5 years. Avant-garde or laughably trendy? 10 Deep new line jokes about this stuff. 10 Deep will it fall into the latter?

This colorful new cut & sew tee from Stash House is lavender with bright prints: large silhouettes of women with guns in raspberry and white, with white, teal, purple and lime green imagery around them including the street scene at their feet, along... See more more

Vice(the magazine)-tastic, vulgar, silhouette of a menage trois with Frank Miller attention to certain pieces and a Miami Vice color scheme. I feel like I could just as easily see this on the cover of Vibe as on Tarantino at a red carpet debut for Grindhouse. Despite the 1991 palette, this t-shirt only fools the quickest of glances as the fundamental element at work is senseless, untamed testosterone. I'd wear it to be "ironochic."
