Framed in a shining silver heart and adorned with a smaller, solid heart, it combines thousands of years of history with playful style. Ancient Israel, due to its large stretches of sandy dunes and beaches, was one of the largest glass producers of the Roman Empire. These same sands helped preserve the glass through the centuries, shaping and tempering it into the jewelry-quality pieces being excavated today.
