I bought this system about one month ago and haven't been able to watch anything (TV, Movie, etc.) without turning it on. It really does sound incredible for the money I caught mine on sale for around $410. My only complaint with it is the HDMI it is truly a pass-through only. Now, I knew this long before purchase but still think if Onkyo was going to go through the trouble of putting 2 HDMI inputs on this system, they should have went ahead and made it capable of pulling audio off of the line insteadof just acting as an extra input (which would come in handy if your TV only has 1 HDMI input).
