Recognized both nationally and internationally, Nic Nicosia is a leading force in the contemporary art world. Recent work has been exhibited at the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth, Charles Cowles Gallery, NYC, Dunn and Brown Contemporary, SITE Santa Fe, and CASA in Salamanca, Spain. Nic has been chosen twice (in 1983 and 2000) to exhibit in the prestigious Whitney Biennial, and he is the only artist from Texas, to be included in Documenta in Kassel, Germany. Nic's work has been exhibited in museums including the Museum of Modern Art in New York, the Baltimore Museum of Art, the Solomon R. Guggenheim, the Dallas Museum of Art, the Centre Georges Pompidou in Paris, and the Contemporary Art Museum in Montreal. In addition to exhibiting extensively in the United States, he has shown his work in Brussels, London, Berlin, Munich, Paris, Lyon, Milan, and Turin.
